6325 Freight Special DVD

Grand Trunk 4-8-4 6325 is alive once more operating on a special photographers freight train on October 11, 2003. Sponsored by the Ohio Central and owner Jerry Jacobson, the locomotive resembled the late 1950s in regular service on the Grand Trunk Western railroad. The special operated out of Sugarcreek, OH on the former Wheeling and Lake Erie Trackage. The freight consist included a caboose and to keep the train pure, a separate escort passenger train carried the patrons between photo locations using vintage FP9 diesels in a Pennsylvania Railroad inspired paint scheme. Good morning runbys in the cool morning air feature some spirited running. This rural area features pristine farms and even some livestock is seen during the day.
